Obituary for ROBINSON

Jimmie L. Robinson, 69, a resident of Albuquerque from 1984 to 1994, died on January 16, in Mt. Airy, MD. He was born in Phillipsburg, KS, on August 9, 1939. After graduating from Phillipsburg High School he joined the U.S. Navy and served nine years before pursuing other occupations. Mr. Robinson had worked at the Albuquerque Mini Storage, Northeast Heights Self Storage, Valle Grande Apartments, and Sierra Vista Chevron. He was married to Nancy Robinson, his wife of 49 years. Mr. Robinson enjoyed fishing and camping and spent the early years of retirement traveling with his wife, achieving their goal to visit all 50 states. He is survived by wife Nancy of Mt. Airy, MD; daughters Cynthia Robinson of Cheverly, MD; Deborah Williams and son-in-law Manuel of Rio Rancho, NM, and their children; son Bradford Robinson and daughter-in-law Marian of Denver, CO. Mr. Robinson also leaves behind six grandchildren, a granddaughter-in-law, a great-grandchild, two brothers and a sister, and numerous other relatives and friends.
