George R. Dale, August 31, 1919 to January 22, 2009: George was born and raised in Dawson, New Mexico, a small coal mining town in the northern part of the state. He followed his high school sweetheart to Albuquerque in 1939. They were married and had one child, Sharon. George worked for AT&T. He joined "The greatest generation ever" when he enlisted in the Navy and spent four years in the Pacific during WWII. He returned to Albuquerque and worked for the telephone company for another forty years. George was a Mason, belonging to Hiram Lodge #13. He was a member of Elks Lodge #461. George was preceded in passing by his wife, Katherine; daughter, Sharon Dale Mosman; brothers, Bill, James, and Albert. He is survived by Dr. John O. Mosman and wife, Patsy Goff Mosman, who was like a daughter to him; granddaughter, Robin Mosman Divine and husband Kevin; great-granddaughters, Kaitlynn, Morgan, and Riann, all of Albuquerque and grandson, Scott A.
