Mary Burgin, 66, a long time resident of Rio Rancho, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2009. Mary was born October 29, 1942 the daughter of John and Anna Pierce in Lancaster, Ohio. She is survived by her loving husband David of 42 years; daughters, Lisa Miller and husband Derrick (whom she loved like a son), Melissa Burgin (her casino buddy), Diana Andrews and husband Terrence, Rhonda Komchai and Lora Sawyer. Mary was blessed with ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mary is also survived by her twin brother, Gary Pierce; and her baby sister and best friend Janet Pfingsten along with Janet's wonderful husband Pete. Mary had two wonderful nephews, Ray Carpenter and family, Jeff and Antionette Carpenter; and a beautiful niece Linda Montoya and family. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2009 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho, and Monday, January 26, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the Service at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services. Interment will follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park. A Reception will follow in the Family Room in the funeral home.
