Brenda I. Sandoval, 55, of Albuquerque, passed away in her home on December 31, 2008 after a long struggle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents Adela and Leontino Garduno; brother-in-law John Raju; beloved nephew Jerome Holmes and niece Rachel Joy. She is survived by her husband Julian L. R. Sandoval, Sr. of Albuquerque; daughters Juliana Santistevan (Robert) of Ojo Caliente and Neomi Sandoval (Ron Bartrum) of Albuquerque; and son Julian, Jr. (Sherry) of Albuquerque. She leaves four grandsons Robert, Jr., Johnny, Joe, and Jerome and one granddaughter Joeyelle, as well as two step-granddaughters Ashley and Amber. Other survivors are her siblings Sabino (Mele) Vigil, Filia Raju, Theodora (Manuel) Morgas, Paul (Dolores) Garduno, Dorothy (Maurice) Duran, Reyes (Gail) Garduno, Consuelo (Lawrence) Miera, Dora (Leroy) Holmes, and Clyde (Torry) Garduno. She leaves numerous nieces and nephews as well. Interment will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Monday, January 12, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. A Memorial Service was held Saturday, January 3, 2009 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Albuquerque.
