Johnny L. Carlton passed away December 22, 2008 after a brief illness. Born February 3, 1932, he moved to Albuquerque in 1956. He was a real estate investor, specializing in residential rentals. Prior employment includes 18 years as an electrician and metal worker for Electrical Products Co. He was a member of the Hiland Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He is survived by his wife Jane Carlton; his son Robert and daughter-in-law Laurie Carlton of Albuquerque; and a sister, Venita Mooring of Hay Springs NE. He was preceded in death by his father Walter Carlton and mother Lucy Carlton, sister, Helen Morgan and brother Woody Carlton. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 5, 2009 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 8904 Menaul NE. A reception will follow at the Carlton home.
