Miquela (Mickey) Griego, 58, passed away Monday, December 22, 2008 with her family by her side. She is preceded in death by her husband, Andy C. Griego and her father, Ismael Baca. She is survived by her fiance, Edward Rael; mother, Sofia Baca; her son, Andrew Griego Jr. and wife, Barbara; her daughter, Jennie Griego and Benny Esquibel; and her step-daughter, Pamela Gurule and husband, Carlos. She is also survived by her siblings, Alice Gurule and husband, Rudy; Diana Wright and Beto Garcia; Ismael (Petro) Baca Jr. and wife Kathy; Steve Baca and Lisa Delgado; and Gloria Martinez and husband Tim. She has 12 grandchildren and one great-grandson. She is also survived by her aunt Lila Garcia; and uncles Eddy Baca, Pete Baca and Cecilio Martinez and many relatives and friends. Mickey worked as a motor coach operator for the city transit department for the past 19 years and previously was a school bus driver with Sanchez Southwest Coaches and Herrera Bus Company. She will be loved and missed by all. A Wake Service for Mickey will be held on Monday evening, December 29, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. also at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
