Obituary for PINSON

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Friday December 26, 2008

Wyatt "Tim" Pinson, 85, went home to be with his Heavenly Father and his family that have gone on before him, on Sunday, December 21, 2008. Born to Henry and Bertha Davis Pinson at Branchland, WV, Tim was the seventh of ten children. He owned and operated his own business for 16 years at Midkiff and Ranger, WV. Tim and Cleo, his wife, moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1962 for health reasons. Tim became disabled in 1978, and fought a debilitating disease that took over his body and life for many years. He defied death several times with miracles being performed in his life. Tim was a member of Berean Baptist Church for many years. He loved his Heavenly Father, his country, and family that included his little dachshunds. His love for automobiles resulted in a collection of miniature Fords. Tim never became too ill to lose his sense of humor or to sing a song. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Cleo, and two sisters, Hazel Hatten and Lois Schwagel, all of Dayton, OH; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harry, Carl, Charles Ray, and Paul; and sisters, Palma Workman, Mayme Gunshefski and Virginia Carmody. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, Saturday, December 27, 2008, beginning at 12:00 noon, with services to follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Enon Cemetery in Salt Rock, WV. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Ambercare Hospice, 2129 Osuna Road NE, Albuquerque, NM 87113.
