Benjamin Kivitz, died peacefully on Saturday morning, December 14, 2008. His short life was lived fully with laughter, compassion and friendship. In his fight against cancer, Ben's true character was revealed. He took on the battle with humor, strength and rarely complained. He will be truly missed and always loved. He is survived by his parents, Mike and Ellen; siblings Brooke and Mickey; grandmother Ruth Kivitz; uncles, Dr. Jonathan Kivitz and Bob McCloskey as well as numerous wonderful and loyal friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the UNM Cancer Research Center Foundation. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, December 21, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Sandia Preparatory Performing Arts Auditorium. 532 Osuna NE
