Obituary for CAMDEN

Elizabeth Anne Ball Torres Camden passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2008 of heart failure. She was born on October 2, 1960 in Albuquerque. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Camden of Bosque Farms; parents, Frederic and Kathleen Ball of Albuquerque; her sister, Susan Ball and her son, Francis S. Torres by a previous marriage. Also, by her stepchildren, Mark and Lacey Camden. Elizabeth graduated from Sandia Prep School and attended the University of Denver. She supported herself and her son as a secretary and with a shop she co-owned in Old Town. She loved animals, singing, the arts and gardening. At the age when he was three months old her son performed with her as mother and baby gypsies in the Opera Carmen at the Kimo. She is mourned by her husband, Ron, her son, parents, sister, extended family and many friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 1st United Methodist Church at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 20, 2008. Her many friends are invited to come celebrate Elizabeth's life in the service and remain for a gathering in the Fellowship Hall. Donations may be made to a group that serves women's and children's needs or organ donations.
