Daniel Jeffrey Lucero (#22), 20 years old, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on December 15, 2008. Daniel is survived by his mother, Diane Lucero; his father, Jim Lucero; his sister, Jamie WIlliams and husband, Chris; his brother, Jimmy Lucero and girlfriend, Angelica Chavez; his niece and nephew, Autumn and Sam WIlliams; his grandparents, Ralph and Mary Lucero and Connie Chavez; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Daniel was a member of the Catholic Church and attended and played baseball at N.M. J.C. in Hobbs, NM. Visitation will be Thursday, December 18, 2008 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 564 Atrisco Dr. SW. Final visitation will be Friday, December 19, 2008 at the Church from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dominic Gallegos, Trevor Pervis, Woody Woodall, Bobby Montoya, Steven Leddy, Dru Lucero, Chris Gallegos, and Jacob Neff.
