Leslie O. Blatchford, 90, died Tuesday, December 16, 2008. He is survived by his children, Larry L. Blatchford, Ken N. Blatchford and wife, Dolores, Eileen K. Clarke and Ron Collier and wife, Lee LaBrash; grandchildren, Michael Blatchford and wife, Staci, Jay Blatchford, Christy James, Nirvana and husband, J D Rodriguez, Christy Blatchford, Levi Blatchford, Roger Blatchford; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Jacob, Alexander III, Esprit, Ami, Esperanza and Jasmine; brother, Dana Norwood and many other relatives and friends. Mr. Blatchford was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Alberta; brother, Elmer Blatchford and sister, Lois Brown. Leslie was a member of Duranes Catholic Parish and San Felipe de Neri Catholic Parish. He served his country during WW II in the US Army where he was wounded in combat. He was also a member of the DAV. Mr. Blatchford worked for ACF Industries and G E Aircraft Industries for many years before retiring.
