G. Philip Lehrman, PhD., died Thursday, December 11, 2008 after a short illness. Phil was the retired Assistant Dean of the College of Pharmacy at UNM. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Natalie; sons, Philip Lehrman of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Paul Lehrman of Farmington, New Mexico and Peter Lehrman of Albuquerque; daughters-in-law, Sherrie Smith and Kathleen Kennedy; and grandchildren, Philip, Jaclyn and Jessica. Phil was born in New York City, and raised in Stratford, Connecticut. He served in the United States Navy during World War II, earned a PhD in Pharmacy from the University of Connecticut and worked in the pharmaceutical industry before becoming a professor. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 13, 2008 at St. Johns Episcopal Church, 318 Silver SE. TIME OF SERVICE IS PENDING.
