Leona Robinett Griffith, 77, of Albuquerque, NM passed away Friday, November 28, 2008. She is survived by a daughter Linda Wilkinson and a son Bruce Griffith of the Albuquerque area; and her grandchildren, Breeann and Josh Wilkinson, Keaton and Kenzy Griffith and Davis Joyner. She was born in Amarillo, TX, 1931 to Clifton H. and Gladys Robinett. Leona was a loving and compassionate preschool teacher at the YMCA in Albuquerque, and at the Child Care Center on Sandia Base for over 20 years. She was a member of the Palo Duro Senior Center and a member of their Crocheting Club and donated many blankets to the Project Linus Organization. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charities of ones choice.
