Obituary for CRIGLER

Randolph Tucker Crigler, age 70, after a long illness died Sunday November 23, 2008 with his family at his bedside. Born in Newark, NJ to Henry Randolph and Virginia Britton Crigler. He grew up in East Orange, then Summit, NJ where he graduated with the class of 1956 from Summit High School. He attended Randolph Macon College in Virginia. He returned to Summit to serve in the Summit Police Dept for ten years, then moved to Grants, NM. Some may remember he founded the Der Krigler Deli on Roosevelt in Grants. He gave 23 years of loyal and distinguished service as a Correctional Officer for the State of New Mexico. Surviving Randy are his loving wife, Maria Crigler; and his beloved children, Susan Wright, Filomina Leathers of Albuquerque. Suzanne, Rob, Dan, Steve, Jennifer and Melanie on the East Coast. Also at his bedside were his loving sister Mary Crigler Heaton; and brother Doctor William Henry Crigler. Your "Million Dollar"smile that expressed the kind, giving heart of the man we knew and loved will be remembered forever. Husband, father, grandfather and brother you will be missed and kept in our hearts forever.
