James Sherwood Jenkins, Jr., P.D., D.A.A.P.M., F.A.C.A., Doctor of Pharmacology, went to be with the Lord and loved ones, Thursday, November 19, 2008. In the Smithsonian Institute, Dr. Jenkins holds 53 world speed records for flying. He is an accomplished author, and has contributed greatly to research in Medicine, and Pharmacology. Dr. Jenkins is survived by Tina, his loving wife of 22 years; son, Kenneth Hall of Nashville, TN; daughters, Candice and husband Sam Beshay of Nashville, TN, Christina and husband Antonio Montoya of Rio Rancho; adoptive son, Roy Yazzie of Gallup; grandchildren, Shelby, Sydney, and Savannah Hall, Kinsey Beshay, Julia Montoya; brothers, Gerald Jenkins and wife Roberta of Cape Cod, MA, Donald Jenkins and wife Virginia; sister, Alice Rawlings of Memphis, TN. He was greatly loved by his Walmart and Navajo families and friends in Gallup and throughout New Mexico. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 21, at 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary Westside Chapel.
