John P. Barbara, 82, born in Lubbock, TX, and a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully Monday, November 17, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Cleo Barbara; and an enormous extended family. Mr. Barbara was preceded in death by his father, Joseph E. Barbara; mother, Mary Sharp Barbara; two brothers, Joseph V. Barbara, and James J. Barbara. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, November 19, 2008, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, with visitation one hour prior to Rosary. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, November 20, 2008, 10:00 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel, 7500 Paseo Del Norte NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
