Evelyn Massey, 93, died Monday, November 10, 2008, with her daughters by her side. She was born in Overbrook, KS and moved to Albuquerque in 1957. She loved fishing, playing bridge and watching sports on TV. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Everett; daughter, Carmen, three sisters; and two brothers. She is survived by daughters, Mary Gilliland of Albuquerque and Marcia Massey and husband, Arne Kittelsen of Granby, CT; grandchildren: Kathy Ward Tubbs of Houston, TX and her children, Lindsey, Matthew and Aimee; Terry Ward and wife, Dina of Albuquerque and their children, Samantha and Patrick; KK Ward and husband, Jeff Slingerland, also of Albuquerque and their children, Jory and Kelsey; Adrian Goldstein and husband, Brian Dunston of Oakland, CA and their children, Mickey and Nora; Itea Goldstein and wife, Courtney of Seattle, WA and their children, Ariadne and Tarin; and Tristan Goldstein of Berkeley, CA. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, Wednesday, November 12, 2008, beginning at 6:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, November 13, 2008, at 8:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Annunciation, Claremont and Vermont Streets NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. A special thanks to Don Gluvna for bringing her communion every week and to Presbyterian Hospice, especially Tammy and Darlene.
