Lee B. McKinney, age 88 of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2008 at a local hospital. Mr. McKinney was a veteran and reservist in the United States Army for over 30 years. He retired from the United States Army as a Lt. Colonel, during this time he worked for the Atomic Energy Commission (Department of Energy Commission), retiring from both in 1980. He was a member of Hoffmantown Community Church since 1973. Surviving are his wife of 67 years Waldean; his children, Brenda D. Davis and her husband James, Jennie Lee Tate and her husband Paul, Larry McKinney and his wife Joyce; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; his brother, Bryan McKinney; and his sister Mildred Coley. Memorial Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 7, 2008, at French Mortuary 7121 Wyoming Blvd.NE. Ennichement will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menual Blvd., NE.
