Viola Romero, 85, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2008. She is survived by her seven children, Joe, Claudia, Rebecca, Danny, Liz, Ruth, and Reuben; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ernest Sandoval of Maryland. She was preceded in death by her parents Gregorita, and Macario; and brothers, Macario Sandoval and Leopoldo Lucero. She baked and worked in the nursery at St. Johns UMC for over 20 years. She was a Menaul High School graduate and Highlands University graduate where she received her Associates Degree. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Family and friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, Friday, October 31, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 1, 2008, 2:00 p.m., at St. John's United Methodist Church, 2626 Arizona NE.
