Jesus "Chuy" M. Martinez, age 37, a life-long resident of Los Lunas, NM passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 after a three year battle with cancer. He was a loving husband and father. He was preceded in death by his son, Aaron Garret in 2000. Jesus is survived by his loving wife, Kalla Martinez; two sons, Garret and Lucas Martinez; mother, Connie Martinez; father, Jesus I. Martinez; mother-in-law, Karen Krout; father-in-law, Ted Krout; brother-in-law, Bernard Krout; five brothers, Ignacio, Joseph, Marcos, Martin and Ben Martinez; two sisters, Rosalie Torres and Judy Martinez and grandmother, Lupe Cote. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. All services will be held at San Clemente Catholic Church in Los Lunas, beginning with a Viewing on Sunday, November 2, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:30 p.m. A final visitation will be held on Monday, November 3, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. with Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Albuquerque, NM. In lieu of flowers and contributions, the family request that donations be made in memory of Jesus "Chuy" M.
