Obituary for FOGLEMAN

Lonam Russell "Buggs" Fogleman, 89, died peacefully at Beehive 3 in Farmington, NM on Sunday, October 26, 2008. He was born November 11, 1918 in Monroe, LA, to Joel E. and Rosa Marguerite Fogleman. Lonams parents preceded him in death; as did his older brother, Joel E. Fogleman. He married Ollie May Kachel on July 4, 1944 in Beaver, OK. Lonam was an Army Air Corps veteran and served two tours overseas during World War II. He worked as an electrician and was a proud member of IBEW Local 611 for 57 years. Lonam is survived by his wife of 64 years; three children, Lonam Russell Fogleman, Jr. and wife, Janet of Albuquerque, NM, Margie Perry and husband James of Rio Rancho, NM, and Louis Fogleman and wife Linda of Farmington, NM. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Marcy Cook, Lonam Russell Fogleman III, Jamie James and husband Jerry, Clay Sewell and Shannon, Renee Byrd and husband Barry, Heather Faverino and husband Dwayne, and Heath Fogleman and wife Amy; and many loving great-grandchildren, family and friends. A Viewing will be held 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. today, Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at Cope Memorial Chapel of Farmington. Graveside Services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Memory Gardens of Farmington with Pastor John Preston officiating. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Lonam Russell Fogleman III, Barry Byrd, Clay Sewell, Dwayne Faverino, Heath Fogleman, and nephew, Steve Reynolds. Military Honors will be provided by VFW Post 2182. Donations in Lonam's honor may be made to Childhaven, 807 West Apache, Farmington, NM, 87401. Lonam has been entrusted to the care of Cope Memorial Chapel, 404 W. Arrington, (505) 327-5142.
