Richard F. Myers, 79, resident of Shiremanstown, PA passed away Thursday, October 16, 2008 in his home. He is survived by his fiance, Nancy Brenneman; daughters, Cathy Sue Ellis and Tami Lynn Foshee and husband, Patrick; son, Glen Franklin Myers and wife, Aimee; daughter-in-law, Jeanette Myers; sisters, Mildred V. McNair, Elizabeth M. Moffitt, and Henrietta Eckert; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine S. Myers; son, Kenneth Leroy Myers; and parents, Carroll Hummel and Tina Catherine (Prosser) Myers. Richard was born in Harrisburg, PA on Tuesday, March 26, 1929. He served in the US Army during World War II. Richard was the owner and operator of Myers Repair Shop in Albuquerque and was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. Services will be held Friday, October 24, 2008, 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Friends may visit one hour prior.
