Larry W. Leathers passed away in Santa Fe, NM on October 2, 2008. Larry was born on October 26, 1941 in Ft. Morgan (Brush), CO to Mary and Clarence Leathers. He is preceded in death by his father Clarence in 1992; his mother Mary in May, 2008; and sister Peggy in 2000. Larry is survived by his two sons Larry Jr. and wife Barbara of Albuquerque and Michael and wife Filomina of Rio Rancho; sister Mary of Castle Rock, CO, sister Cyndi of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA; and brother Don of Bonn, Germany. Grandaughters Evangeline Gibson (Leathers) and husband John of Edgewood, NM, Melissa Hogue of Albuquerque, NM. Grandsons Michael Hogue, Nicholas Hogue, and Thomas Hogue all of Albuquerque. Services will be held Sunday, October 12, 2008 in Albuquerque, and Saturday, October 18, 2008 in Los Angeles, CA.
