Margery Ruth Plumb, the youngest of ten children, was born in Cisne, IL, Sunday, November 30, 1919. She joined the heavenly choir on Sunday, October 5, 2008. Margery had lived at Manzano del Sol Good Samaritan Home in Albuquerque since 1996. She was dearly loved by everyone who knew her. Her lovely smile and always-pleasant personality endeared her to all. Margery was predeceased by her husband, Joe Plumb and a step-grandson, Richard Singer. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Singer and husband, Leland, of Palacios, TX; and sons, Charlie Plumb and wife, Susan, of Calabasas, CA; Larry Plumb and wife, Donna, of Phoenix, AZ; and Brad Plumb and wife, Karen, of Overland Park, KS. She also leaves many wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Margery was active in Baptist churches wherever she lived, and was a devout Christian. She will be remembered by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren as a wonderful blessing in their lives. A Celebration of her Life will be held in the chapel at Manzano Del Sol Good Samaritan Village Thursday, October 9, 2008, 10:00 a.m.. She will be interred at a Graveside Service in Overland Park, KS at a later date. The family requests no flowers.
