Obituary for LEPARD

Lawrence (Larry) Robert Lepard entered the gates of Heaven on October 3, 2008. Lawrence was born July 22, 1948 in Big Spring, TX and graduated from Coahoma High School in 1966 where he lettered in football and basketball. He received a B.S. in Food Science from Texas Tech University in 1972. Lawrence lived in Scottsdale, AZ where he was employed by Burd & Fletcher Co. He also worked for Creamland Dairies in Albuquerque, NM. He was a proud member of First Southern Baptist Church of Scottsdale where he loved to serve people and teach bible studies. He enjoyed coaching his son's and their friend's football and basketball teams. He is survived by his wife Lisa and son Deion, son Shawn and his spouse Stephanie and granddaughters Rachel, Aubrie and Kristyn of Edmond, OK, son Chris and his spouse Sally and grandson Tommy of Austin, TX, parents Waymon and Betty of Willow Park, TX, brother Ron of Big Spring, TX, and several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews across the country. Lawrence was preceded in death by his brother Dickie and grandparents CR and Hattie Lawdermilk, and WC and Ruth Lepard. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at First Southern Baptist Church, 5230 N. Scottsdale Rd., Scottsdale with visitation one hour prior. Burial Service will be at 1:30 p.m., at Paradise Memorial Gardens, 9300 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale.
