Lucrezia (Grace) Elizabeth Conticelli, 82, died peacefully in her son's home on October 1, 2008, surrounded by her loving family. Grace was born April 10, 1926 to Dominic and Josephine Azzarito in Brooklyn, NY. Grace lived and worked in New York City where she met and married her husband, Peter Conticelli in 1948, together they raised four children. In 1977, after her husband retired from the New York City Police Department, they decided to retire to New Mexico. Grace and her husband moved to Socorro, NM where she lived for 30 years. Grace is preceded in death by her husband, Peter Louis Conticelli. Grace is survived by her brother, Fred Azzarito and his wife Philomena of South Carolina; her daughter, Patricia Hall and her husband Ryan of Socorro, NM, daughter Joy Romano and her husband John of Albuquerque, NM; son Peter Conticelli and his wife Carla of Rio Rancho, NM, son Andrew Conticelli and his wife Lori of Albuquerque, NM; and nine grandchildren Angela Conticelli, Peter Conticelli and his wife Christina, Jennifer Romano, Jessi Velasco and her husband Jose Velasco, John Romano, Jaclyn Hall and her fiance Ryan Waggoner, Andrew Conticelli, Dominic Conticelli, and Ava Conticelli. A Rosary will be held at Steadman-Hall Funeral Home on Sunday, October 5, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. The viewing will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at San Miguel Parish at 9:00 a.m., on Monday, October 6, 2008 and the Burial will follow at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM at 1:00 p.m.
