Raul Gutierrez, 35, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2008. Raul was born September 30, 1972 the son of Ray and Socorro Gutierrez in Santa Fe, NM. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Gutierrez; brother, Ray Gutierrez; nephew, Salvador Hernandez; and brother-in-law, Jesus Ortiz. He is survived by his wife, Francine Gutierrez of Rio Rancho; three children, Raul Gutierrez, Jr., Christopher Gutierrez, and Damian Gutierrez, all of Rio Rancho, NM; mother, Socorro Gutierrez, of Santa Fe, NM; brothers, Juan Gutierrez, and Antonio Baca and wife Cheryl; sisters, Kathy Hernandez and husband Salvador, Judy Leyba and husband Ronnie, Debbie Dominguez and husband David, Jeanette Martinez and husband Randy, Gloria Corriz and husband Pat, and Hope Gutierrez; godsons, David Rodriguez and Jonathan Roybal; god daughter, Alison Guevara. The Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, September 30, 2008 following the Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 10:30 a.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho. Interment will follow in the Rosario Cemetery in Santa Fe. Pallbearers will be Manny Guevara, Matt Roybal, Jon Aguilar, Rudy Roybal, Ruben Corriz, and Orlando Jaramillo.
