Christine Tryens Patterson, 57, passed away on September 21, 2008 after a lifelong fight against the effects of rheumatoid arthritis. Chris was born in Wilmington, DE and spent her childhood there. She graduated from Ursuline Academy and Brandywine College. She moved to Albuquerque in 1977. Chris is survived by her son, Daniel Tryens and his wife, Mandy; and her former husband and dear friend, Bill Tryens of Albuquerque. She is also survived by her siblings, Mary Fitzpatrick, Kathy King, John Szabo, Joanne Corrao and Beth Sheehy and their families. She was predeceased by her husband, Steven Patterson; her parents, Stephen and Frances Szabo; her brother, Jerry Szabo; and her nephew, Michael Sheehy. Chris' family would like to thank the staff at Princeton Place Nursing Home for the kind and loving care they provided for the past three years. A Memorial Service will be held at Aspen Funeral Alternatives, 1935 Juan Tabo NE on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 2:00 p.m.
