Tillie S. Fresquez, age 78, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 13, 2008 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born to David and Mercedes Sanchez on December 6, 1929 in Belen, NM. Tillie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who cherished her family and her friends. She was a well-known realtor who was always generous with her time and talent, and made life-long friends of her clients. Tillie took care of us all; she gave everyone the gift of her strength which will live on in each of us forever. Tillie is survived by her husband, of 51 years, Alvino E. Fresquez, of Albuquerque, NM and their children: Diane Fresquez Hudson, and husband, Richard, of Brussels, Belgium; Maureen Smith and husband, Steve, of Dallas, TX; and Arlene Fresquez Patrick and husband, Mark, of Summit, NJ, five grandchildren: Louisa F. Hudson, Clara F. Hudson, Emily F. Patrick, Zoe F. Patrick and Alina F. Patrick, and two sisters: Esther Sandoval and Corine Gallegos, and three brothers: David Sanchez, Claude Sanchez and Ruben Sanchez. Tillie is preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Nona Castillo, Erlinda Sanchez, Lilly Sanchez Carassco; and one grandchild, Alexander F. Hudson. The Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary was held on September 16, 2008 at French Mortuary Wyoming Blvd Chapel. The Mass of the Resurrection was held on September 17, 2008 at Our Lady of Annunciation Catholic Church, 2532 Vermont NE with Father Voorhies as the Celebrant. Burial followed at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Cemetery in Belen, NM.
