Floyd Brooks Williams III, 51, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2008. He was born December 10, 1956 in Albuquerque, NM, and resided in Las Vegas, NV for the past 14 years. He was a construction contractor and President of Brooks Corporation, LLC in Las Vegas, NV. He is survived by his father Floyd Williams; his mother Laura Williams; and his three adult children Jacqueline, Melinda, and Carolyn of Las Vegas. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2008 at Shadow Hills Baptist Church, 7811 Vegas Drive, followed by a reception in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Opportunity Village, 6300 West Oakey Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146. The family requests no visitors to their home.
