Mary Jane Raney, age 79, of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2008. She was born June 12, 1929 in Effingham, IL to Aloysius and Gertrude Fruchtl. She married James Joseph Raney on June 20, 1953 in Effingham, IL and he preceded her in death on January 31, 2006, after 53 yrs. of marriage. Surviving are her children, Kent Raney and his wife Jane of Carlsbad, NM, Kevin Raney and his wife Susan of San Clemente, CA, Rene Raney of Albuquerque, NM, and Sean Raney and his wife Susan of Dallas, TX; her grandchildren, Jedd and his wife Daria, Caitlin, Jacob, Kristin, Kelly, Alex, and Patrick; great-grandson, Brayden; two brothers, Bob Fruchtl and his wife Pat of Springfield, IL and Dick Fruchtl and his wife Sandra of Effingham, IL. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2008, at 11:00 a.m., at John XXIII Catholic Community, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr. NE.
