Obituary for SALAZAR

Lupe Salazar, 94, died Sept 12, 2008. She was born in Alamos, Mexico, moved with her family to Los Angeles, CA where she met and married her husband Victor. They moved to Albuquerque in 1946 where she was an active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Parish, was a volunteer with St. Joseph Hospital Auxiliary and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Salazar will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children Nancy Friedman, Victor Salazar, Thomas Salazar and Julia Salazar; grandchildren, David L. Friedman, Lisa M. Griggs, Laura N. Jackson, Victor E. Salazar III, Michael V. Friedman, Christina Salazar, Justin Salazar, Sierra V. Salazar, Forrest Salazar, Savanah Salazar, Danielle Salazar, Emma Salazar Stern; great-grandchildren, Caleb J. Jackson, Amber M. Friedman, Crystal B. Martin, Jonathan V. Jackson, Dylan C. Friedman, Leanna N. Friedman, Zachary M. Friedman, Jonathan P. Davenport, Tyler R. Friedman, Thomas Young, Victor A. Friedman, Sabine Salazar, Steven R. Griggs, Adam Salazar, Alison Salazar, Ian Salazar, and Jason Salazar. She is also survived by her great-great- grandchildren Danielle Friedman, Ellie Rose Jackson and Jayson V. Martin, her sister Natalie Quiros; and numerous other family and friends. Lupe was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, her parents and 12 siblings.
