Obituary for LOPEZ

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Tuesday September 16, 2008

Albert Lopez, 61, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 13, 2008 after a short illness. He was born August 15, 1947 to David and Jenny Lopez. He is survived by his beloved children, Mark, Adrian, and Alisa. His one grandchild, Adrianna, brought him many hours of great joy. They loved being silly together. Al's "little sister", Christine, was his lifelong support and advisor. He also leaves behind his "wonderful" fiancee Darlene, with whom he shared a deep love. Al will be greatly missed by family, many friends, and co-workers. He was a man of faith and had a great capacity to love. He enjoyed the company of friends, loved food, sports, and had quite an active sense of humor. Al left us at a time when he had reached the pinnacle of contentment in his personal and professional life. Although his passing was sudden, we are comforted in the knowledge that he was happy and at peace in his final days on this earth. The loss of his presence will always be felt. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, September 16, 2008, 10:30 a.m., at First Family Church, 4701 Wyoming Blvd NE. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE (505) 843-6333 www.frenchmortuary.com
