Wilma Patricia Betts, also known fondly as Babe, of 5800 Glenda Court NW. Albuquerue NM, was born in Chicago, IL on February 7 1929 has passed away in her sleep on September 5 2008. She was preceded in death by her first born Robert Betts, is survived by daughters, Willetta and Alene Betts; grandsons, Gary Coffin, Thomas and Daniel Betts; stepgrandson, Tony Richter; and older sister, Evelyn Stanek. Wilma moved to Albuquerque in 1971 where she pursued her college degree and graduated from UNM. She then worked at Presbyterian Hospital during which she opened her own home based medical transcription company that she continued to run for many years even after she retired from her more than 25 years of employment at Presbyterian Hospital. Wilma Betts was the type of person who touched everyone that had the privilege to meet her. The world has lost a beautiful loving, giving human being.
