Obituary for SCHINDLER

Bernice E. Schindler, 83, resident of Albuquerque since the late 1940's, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2008. She is survived by her children; Gary Peveler of Parker, AZ, Gale Peveler and June Montoya, both of Albuquerque; daughter-in-law, Leslie Keen of Albuquerque, stepchildren; Dan Schindler, Linda Vrieze, Janice Kielkowski, and Judy Garcia, all of Salt Lake City, UT; grandchildren, Tracy Wilson and husband, Wiley, Tamara Bible, Mike and Curtis Peveler, Nicole Aspa, and Thomasina Peveler; great grandchildren, Andrew, Ryan, Wesley, Ashley, Ajani, Sophia, Aiden and Amber Rain. Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Schindler; brothers George, Ed and Harold Wegner and one son, Leon Keen. She moved to Albuquerque in the late 1940's from Nebraska, then moved to Salt Lake City in 1971 and back to Albuquerque in 2003 to be close to her children. Bernice enjoyed bowling and bingo as well as going to the casino's in Nevada. Her family would like to give a special thank you to the entire staff at St. Theresa Rehabilitation Center for their kindness. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel. Bernice will be laid to rest with her husband Del in Salt Lake City, Utah.
