Robert (Robby) Chavez Jr., 34, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on September 7, 2008. Robert is survived by his parents, Robert Sr. and Cecilia Chavez; his sister, Melissa Scott and husband, Todd; his brother, Sammy Chavez; his children, Raquel and Jude Anthony Chavez; his girlfriend, Melanie Anderson; grandparents, Fred and Margaret Pena and Tobias Chavez; special aunt and uncle, Michael and Jane Ramirez; special nephew, Adrian Chavez; several other special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and his Goddaughter, Emorie Scott. Robert was preceded in death by his uncle, Michael Pacheco. He was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Thursday, September 11, 2008 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited by Frances and Sil Candelaria at 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel. Final visitation will be Friday at San Jose Catholic Church, 2401 Broadway SE, from 9:30 a.m. unti 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Father J. Stephen Hickman and Deacon Charles Lucero, presiders. Interment will follow at San Jose Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnny Pacheco, Adrian Chavez, Fernando and Francisco Reyes, Jake Valencia, Matthew Chavez and Marcos Lovato.
