Gail Lynn Stevens, 55, of Shawnee, KS passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at the Kansas City Hospice House. Gail was born on December 16, 1952 in El Paso, TX and has lived her last years of life in Albuquerque, NM and Ft. Worth, TX. She was a most beloved preschool teacher at Christot's Montessori Day School in Shawnee, KS for the last four and a half years. She spent the last 15+ years teaching young children and bringing smiles to every one of their faces as well as their parents. She is survived by her three children, Jennifer Spencer-Sneider and her husband David and granddaughter, Sydney of Shawnee, KS; Christopher Spencer of Irving, TX; Teara Joy Spencer of Albuquerque, NM; her parents, Grant and Lee Stevens of El Paso, TX; her three sisters and their husbands and children, Kathy and Bill Folowell of Albuquerque, NM; Janet and Greg Reed of Arlington, TX; Lisa and Harvey Cunov of Coppell, TX and brother and wife and children, Mike and Alison Stevens of Arlington, TX. She was a beloved mother, sister, daughter, teacher, wife and friend.
