Raphael V. Pino, 83, a lifetime resident of New Mexico, went to be with our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, September 3, 2008. Raphael has been a devout and life long member of the Catholic Church, and member of the Acoma Pueblo, he is retired from Rust Tractor and a proud U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII. Mr. Pino is predeceased by his parents, Lorenzo and Santana Pino; and a daughter, Geraldine Pino. He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Frances Pino; son, Manuel Pino and daughter, Ernestine Cortez and husband Steven, his grandchildren, Stephanie, Tanya and husband Nick, Carlos and Stephen; as well as his great-grandchildren, Francisco, Angel, Elysia and Joseph Ray, his sisters Inez Seiler and husband Carl and Lucy Sullivan and husband Don. A visitation will be held at the 8th Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary - The Daniels Family Funeral Services, on Sunday, September 7, 2008 at 4:00 p.m., with Rosary following immediately afterwards at 5:00 p.m. The Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Therese Catholic Church at 9:15 a.m., on Monday, September 8, 2008.
