Mary (Anaya) Padilla, also known as "Tootsie" went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at the age of 76. She was born on November 3, 1931 She had many, many close friends and enjoyed bowling and going to the casino with them. Mary is preceded in death by her father, Bonifacio Anaya, stepmother, Jennie Anaya, her natural mother, Tomasita Sandoval, and grandmother, Chon Mendez. She leaves behind her husband, Leo Padilla; sister, Lora Garcia; children, Christina and Greg Nunez, Larry and Yvonne Padilla, Leona and David Luna, Patty and Arnie Mancha, and Steve and Juliana Padilla; step children, Leon Padilla and Rose Blum; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members. Memorial Services for Mary will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, with a Rosary to be recited at 12:30 p.m. followed by the Mass at 1:00 p.m. Arrangements by: Salazar & Sons Mortuary 400 Third St. SW 247-4124 www.salazarandsons.com
