Mark DeGroat, 56, resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, September 5, 2008. He is survived by his mother, Kay DeGroat; brother, Tim DeGroat; sisters, Wendy Noren and husband, Gene, Sue "Tootie" Wenzel; nieces and nephews, Travous, Tanell, Jade, Kayla, Mandy, Dane, Renee and Phil; great-nieces and great-nephews, Josh, Hunter, Makyla and Sammy; and several other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Will DeGroat; and brother, Ken DeGroat. Mark was a great uncle and mentor to his nieces and nephews. He was also a good brother and friend. Mark loved the outdoors and his family, especially his mother unit. He was very generous with his time, energy and resources. He was loved by all who knew him and will be truly missed.
