Andres Lopez, 85, passed away on August 25, 2008. Andres was born February 24, 1923 in Humacao, Puerto Rico to Luis Lopez Ortiz & Zolia Ortiz Lopez. He was a resident of Princeton Place for seven years. Andres is survived by his five sons, Gerson Lopez-Roman, of Yorktown, NY, Eliezer Lopez-Roman, Andres Lopez-Roman, Jr., of Concord, NC, Luis A. Lopez-Roman, Albuquerque, NM, Ephrain Lopez-Roman, of Las Piedras, Puerto Rico; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two brothers, Pablo Lopez-Ortiz and Guillermo Lopez-Ortiz, both of Puerto Rico. He was preceded in death by his wife, Francisa Roman Lugo. Andreas was a part time barber and Pentecostal Minister. He was one of the first ministers on Spanish radio. He also played a large leadership role with his denominational counsel, the Assembly of Latin American Pentecostal Churches. He was known for his huge heart of generosity and would give his last dime to anyone who might be in need. Visitation will be held Friday, August 29, 2008 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services on Wyoming Blvd. Services will be held Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services on Wyoming Blvd. Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens.
