Jack L. Gabaldon was born November 2, 1955, in Albuquerque, NM. He passed away on Monday, August 25, 2008 in Albuquerque, NM, at the age of 52. Jack was preceded in death by his father, Jacobo Gabaldon and by his grandmother, Barbarita Gabaldon. He is survived by his mother, Rosalie Gabaldon; sister, Gloria Baca and fiance, Mike Montano; brothers, Estanislado and wife, Anna, Ben and wife, Mary and Ernesto; his children, Erica Martinez and husband, Chris, Lucinda Anaya and husband, Manuel, Tammy Curry and husband, Jared and Jacob Gabaldon; grandchildren, Briana, Savana, Mia, Carlos, Viviann and William; six nieces; five nephews; and other family and friends who loved him and will miss him. After Jack's father passed away, he took on the responsibility of raising his younger siblings. He was also a professional painter who worked hard and he will be greatly missed. Services will be held at Church of the Ascension, 2150 Raymac Rd. SW. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 29, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith NE. Pallbearers will be Jacob Gabaldon, Chris Martinez, Ben Gabaldon, Miguel Gabaldon, Marco Baca, Jared Curry and Edward Vallez.
