Trinidad H. Godinez, 82, a loving dad and grandpa passed away and into the Lord's hands on Sunday, August 24, 2008. He was preceded in death by his wife, Candelaria. Trinidad is survived by his daughter, Carmen Zambrano and husband, William; son, Trinidad A. Godinez and wife, Debra; grandchildren, Lawrence Duran, Leonard Duran, Lucas Duran; six grandchildren and nine-great-grandchildren. Mr. Godinez served in the US Army as a Sergeant in the Korean War. He also retired from Rio Grande Steel as a machinist and was a member of the American Legion Post 13. Tata, Grandpa, you will truly be missed and you shall live in our hearts forever. A Rosary was recited Tuesday, August 26, 2008, 6:30 p.m. at French Mortuary, University Chapel. A Communion Service will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at San Ignacio Catholic Church, 1300 Walter St NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
