Amparo Roybal, 87 , a resident of Albuquerque passed away on August 21, 2008. Mrs. Roybal is survived by her children, Genaro M. Roybal Jr., Fiancee Evelyn Romero, Eleanor Vigil and husband, Charlie, and Robert M. Roybal and wife, Patricia; five grandchildren, Nadine, Brenda, Carlos, Lori, and Robert Jr.; seven great-grandchildren, Bret, Kayla, Angelo, Celeste, Brandi, Benito and Carlos Jr.; sister in law, Adis Marquez; Joe Sifuentes; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Roybal was preceded in death by her husband, Genaro Roybal Sr., brothers, Ricardo, Carlos and Manuel; her sisters, Cecilia, and Emma. Visitation will be Sunday, August 24, 2008 from 2:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 3:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. Final visitation will be Monday, August 25th, 2008 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, at 9:00 a.m., Franciscan Friar, presider. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Carlos Vigil, Robert Roybal Jr., Ben Lucero, Ron Marquez, Richard Marquez, and Adolfo Portillo.
