George Thomas Mancuso, 86, passed away at his home Saturday, August 16, 2008. He was born in Rock Island, IL, the 6th child of Italian immigrant parents. He is survived by a son, Donald Mancuso and wife, Diana, and a daughter, Sharon Armstrong, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren Megan Sebastian and husband, Sheldon, of Albuquerque; Timothy McGinty and wife Kerry of Vacaville, CA; Anna Tarlton and husband Adam of Cloverdale, CA; Clair Mancuso of Santa Rosa, CA and great-grandson, Blake Sebastian. George was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Margaret, in 1991. George worked for Sandia Labs until his retirement in 1978. At that time, he and Marge moved to Oceanside, CA where they lived until their return to Albuquerque in 1990. Marge passed away shortly after that and was dearly missed. George was an avid golfer and loved to dance. Memorial Service will be held Thursday, August 21, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at the Daniels Family Funeral Services on Wyoming.
