Douglas D. Hall, age 86, of Belen, went home to be with the Lord on Monday August 18, 2008 after a short battle with leukemia lymphoma. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Bettie; a son and daughter; one sister; and several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 10:00 a.m., at the First Baptist Church of Belen with Pastor Boyd Morerod officiating. Interment will be private. The family will begin receiving friends at the church at 9:30 a.m.. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the charity of your choice.
