Obituary for GITZENDANNER

Jeanne "Kits" Gitzendanner of Albuquerque, NM, formerly of Bedminster, NJ, died peacefully in her home on August 14, 2008. Kits was born in Newark, NJ on January 6, 1918 and graduated from Bloomfield HS in Bloomfield, NJ. She graduated from Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School in NY. During World War II, she was employed in New York at the Eastern Airlines terminal building, and later worked for United Airlines. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert Gitzendanner who passed away in 1994. Kits and Robert moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1983 to join their daughters, Jan and Kristie, already living there and working with the phone company. Kits and Robert enjoyed living in the southwest and traveled quite a bit to see it all. Robert was a WWII veteran and is buried in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Kits will be buried with him after a small service with family and friends. Arrangements were made by French's Mortuary.
