Obituary for CHAVEZ

Jerome Chavez, 23, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on August 16, 2008. Jerome is survived by his mother, Christina Gomez; father, George Chavez; brothers, Christopher Gomez and girlfriend Jeanette Sanchez, and Ross Chavez; sisters, Brianna Rose Chavez, and Gianna Perea; grandmothers, Priscilla Chavez and Socorro Gomez; fiancee, Erica Perea; future-in-laws, Joe and Theresa Perea; and many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jerome was preceded in death by his sister, Kandice Rose Chavez; grandfather, George E. Chavez; and grandfather, Alegundo Gomez. Jerome was a very loved son and person. He brought happiness to everyone that he met in his life and was loved by everyone that knew him. Jerome was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan, a heavy equipment operator at AUI, Inc., and was persuing his goal in life which was to be a paramedic with the fire department and save lives. Jerome we love you and miss you very much, you were awesome. Visitation will be Wednesay, August 20, 2008, from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Cecilia Padilla. Final visitation will be Thursday, August 21, 2008, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. by Father John Tourangeau. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael SIlva, Santiago Garcia, Joe Torres, David Herrera, Anthony Martinez, and Eric Martinez. Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Lucero, Juanito Silva, Ross Chavez, Christopher Gomez, Ronnie Grado and Joe Perea. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW 243-7861
