Obituary for C' DE BACA

Nevarez A. C' de Baca, a resident of Albuquerque, went into the hands of the Lord on August 16, 2008. He is preceded in death by his parents Felipe and Marianita C' de Baca; four sisters; and one brother. He is survived by one brother Philip C' de Baca , Jr., from Colorado Springs, CO; four sisters Alberia C' de Baca, Dora Sanchez and husband Arthur, Margaret Trujillo and husband Flavio, all from Albuquerque, and Lupe Garcia from Jemez Springs. He had many nephews and nieces, was a very devout Catholic, and was a member of the Third Order of St. Frances for many years. He loved singing and was a member of the Catholic Church Choir and had a host of friends. He was a retired schoolteacher from Albuquerque Public School System having taught many years at Garfield Middle School. Visitation will be Friday, August 22, 2008, 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church, 300 Mildred NW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. Final Viewing will be Saturday, August 23, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. by Father Ron Carillo. Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Celso Armijo, Benjamin Duran, John Paul Duran, George Jaramillo, David Bachelor, and Ed Lucero. Honorary pallbearers will be Orlando Chavez, Richard Campos, Rickie Campos, Ron Jaramillo, George Lucero, Carl Guevara, Delano Bennett, and all his nephews and nieces.
