Lowell C. Lewis, 91, an Albuquerque resident since 1952, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2008. He is survived by Louise, his wife of 64 years; and daughters, Deborah, of Albuquerque, and Andrea and her husband, Wendell Tangborn, of Vashon, WA. Lowell was born on February 8, 1917 in North Wales, PA. He served as a pilot in the US Army Air Corps in North Africa during WWII, ultimately retiring from the US Air Force Reserves. He was a graduate of UNM in business administration, and a long-time Lobo fan. Cremation has taken place, and interment will follow at a later date at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
